We bought some hooks for our pots and pans, so it seemed natural that we get some shelving units that are made of the same material. So far we have found a lot of possibilities. It seems that we are in style with what we are doing without even knowing it.

John Boos and other manufacturers are really making it easy to have a modern house that looks great. Steel shelving is turning out to be a very neat idea, and I love how many different uses there are for them. I think more people would be happier if they used them.

Steel shelves are all over the TV in those commercial kitchens, but I was not sure how I would feel about my wife bringing them into our house. Now I actually like it though because everything feels clean all the time. It really does make a lot of sense now.

My wife went shopping for new fixtures for the kitchen, and she came home with what I thought were some strange material ideas. Why would we want steel shelving in our cooking area? I guess if we can find some designer pieces that also use wood and are easy to mount up, it would be OK.

I really love the designs of these hooks that I saw from Enclume, but we really need some metal shelves to match. My wife wasn't too happy about some parts of what I picked out, but I think if I incorporate some wood parts like this it will show her how traditional it can still be.

We were trying to find out how to mount the overhead steel shelves up in the kitchen, and now it finally makes a lot of sense. It seemed like they were too heavy for the wall, but I guess as long as we make sure that each of the screws is on a stud, they should be fine.

I've been looking at different kinds of kitchens and also various manufacturers of appliances and other fixtures, and what I've found has been a bit lacking. I really want some metal shelving to put up in there because I like the ultramodern look, but I guess people in my area are just old fashioned.
